We had planned towards the beginning of the year that we would come down to Austin during 4th of July weekend to spend some time with the B family and also participate in their neighborhood's 4th of July parade. Aunt K also made a short trip there to see them and us also. The kids did great in the car both there and back except for baby boy. He was fine until the last 20 minutes when he woke up from his nap. He was done being in the car, was ready to eat and he let us know! That was definitely not the right time to make a wrong turn getting there! Oops! But if that was our only little hiccup then I would say it was a great trip!
We enjoyed visiting with the B family, going to the pool, playing games after the kids went to bed, going to see Cars 2 and decorating bikes for the parade and being in said parade. We also had a couple visits from other family members that live in the area that stopped by to see us. We all had a wonderful time and can't thank the B family enough for their hospitality! Looks like Dad was saying," Who's idea was this?" Kristi, you look like a little Momma pushing the stroller there. The stroller and bikes looked great.
