Well...actually, just Junior did. I had all of last week off from work and was determined to get this boy potty trained! He has been #2 trained for a couple months now and I thought that was supposed to be the harder part of the training so I figured #1 would be easy.
We had a couple of busy days at the beginning of the week, one of which Nana and Great One were able to come to Junior's last baseball class and see him in action. They were impressed with his skills and enjoyed spending the rest of the day with us at home.
Then once Wednesday hit, we had no plans for the rest of the week. So I stripped Junior down and he spent the next couple days around the house with nothing on but a smile. We had only three accidents: 1 - on our bed (I told Daddy not to wrestle with him on there), 2 - on the tile floor in the laundry room (easy cleanup), 3 - in his clothes in the backyard playing baseball (I knew he wouldn't come in to go when he was having that much fun out there). But by Saturday he had done it! He was potty trained! And by Sunday when we left him and Gaga at my sister-in-laws so Daddy and I could get out for a night, he was going while standing up (we had been sitting him on the potty to go). This is the way he prefers to go now, but not the way I prefer him to go! It can get a little messy!
I can imagine we might have a few more accidents but they should be fewer and far inbetween. We are although not letting him wear underwear to bed at night. He still occassionally wakes up a little wet. We are so proud of him and so glad to have a little extra money around saving on diapers! Oh and I'm not sure how we are going to get Junior to forget about his treats he got when he went on the potty. He still tells us every once in a while, "Junior, pee pee on potty, Junior have canndddyyy!"
