Aunt A and Unckie J came to our house early afternoon to relieve us of our children so we could get checked into the hotel room we would stay in that night for Daddy's birthday. Nana and Great One later relieved them of their duties when they arrived back from a week's trip in Barbados a few hours later. We were blessed to have them stay the night and watch the little ones.
After we checked into our hotel we headed out for dinner. It was not anything too fancy since we were already putting down a good chunk of money for the hotel and the couples' massage the next morning. All Daddy wanted was some good fajitas so we made it downtown to the Iron Cactus. Here we are at dinner and a few margaritas later!

Our hotel room when we got back from dinner. They had a card and balloons for Daddy and the maid had already been by for turn down service. The whole experience was amazing. They are really about customer service there.

Us in the hotel room

Breakfast in the room the next morning...Yummy! After this we headed down for our massages and since the spa was a little behind due to unforeseen problems we were discounted 25%. They made sure that we got a late checkout so we wouldn't be rushed and one of the therapists let me us her phone to call home and make sure Baby girl would not be hungry until we made it back. They really will bend over backwards for you there. Of course 25% is nothing compared to my friend's stay that turned out to be free...but something is better than nothing!

The next day back at home to celebrate with the little ones and blow out some candles. It is all that Junior could talk about. He would sing happy birthday all day and then blow out his imaginary candles for us. He couldn't wait until we finally did it!

Again, HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY, DADDY!!! I hope it was all you asked for! And here's wishing you many, many more wonderful birthdays! We love you! Mommy, Junior and Baby Girl
