My family had their annual "Cookie Day" this past weekend. We all met at my aunt's house to bake cookies. We baked so many cookies that it took us ALL day even with a double oven (one of them being a convection so you could put two cookie sheets in at one time). Anyone that wants to bake cookies, makes a few different ones and then at the end we all take a few of everyone's so we come home with at least 20 different kinds. It takes great skill to manage prepping, baking, cooling and tasting with 9 different cooks in one kitchen. You have to get there early to stake out a spot on the counter .
The cooks start baking (about 10am)

Junior helping his Nana and Great-grandma stir the dough.

Junior exerted himself too much and had to kick back.

After a nap Junior was rejuvenated and ready to make his gingerbread tree.

All good chefs sample their creation

All the cooks...

...and all the cookies!!! (about 4:30pm)
There were still about 8 more batches that weren't on the table because they still needed to be baked. Whew! What an exhausting day!
